As a Physician at Northside Spine and Pain Specialists, Dr. Dua focuses on treating patients using minimally invasive spine and neck procedures that treat chronic neck and back. Dr. Dua has extensive knowledge and experience with abdominal and pelvic pain. He sub-specializes in treating patients with chronic pain syndrome resulting from an injury, cancer, cancer treatment, or other health conditions.
Dr. Dua attended medical school in India at Gujarat University. After completing medical school, he moved to the United States for an Internship program in Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Following his Internship, Dr. Dua joined the Cleveland Clinic as an Anesthesia resident. Following his residency, Dr. Dua completed a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the Cleveland Clinic. While serving as a faculty member at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Dua gained extensive training in Complex Regional Pain Syndrome while working with Michael Stanton Hicks.
Dr. Dua joined Northside Spine and Pain Specialists in 2009 and now serves the clinics Director. He continues to follow his passion for chronic pain by speaking all over the country regarding the management of chronic pain and performing the latest procedures in pain management. Dr. Dua is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologist, American Academy of Pain Medicine and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. In addition, Dr. Dua is a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Management.
