As a Nurse Practitioner at Northside Spine and Pain Specialists, Raquel provides a comprehensive approach with regards to diagnosing and treating chronic pain. Her interest for pain management grew when she began her nursing career in the Emergency Department.
Born and raised in New York, Raquel relocated to Georgia with her family and earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Brenau University. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Today, she remains active in Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
Raquel joined Northside Spine and Pain Specialists in November of 2021. She stresses the value of compassionate care and provides relevant health knowledge to her patients. Raquel incorporates the latest research when assessing and diagnosing her patients to provide them with the most comprehensive treatment plan.
In her spare time, Raquel enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cooking new recipes with her husband.
